100 people are doing their research at Grenoble INP-Pagora (International
school of paper, print media and biomaterials), in the Laboratory of Pulp and
Paper Science and Graphic Arts (LGP2), one of the largest academic research
centers for the pulp, paper, print media and biomaterials sectors in Europe.
The research activity covers the whole field from wood (and non-woody plants)
to converted and printed paper.
The Pagora Days (ex-EFPG Days) have been launched in 2003. During one or two days,
the attendees benefit from tutorial type reviews on major technical issues and
latest research results. The presentations are given in English by
Grenoble INP-Pagora professors and scientists, mill and R&D managers, or
suppliers depending on the themes. The themes rotate so as to cover the whole
LGP2 research activity in 2-3 years.
